The entropy statement formulated by K LIMONTOVICH is discussed by investigating two examples: 1. Selfoscillations of nonlinear oscillators, 2. Laminar and turbulent flows in tubes. The precise meaning of this statement is clarified. It is shown that under the condition of fixed energy the entropy is decreasing with increasing excitation.
