The total cross‐sections for the photo‐nucleon reactions y + p → p + v + v − and y + n → n + v + v − are calculated according to Weinberg‐Salam theory. The effect of the form factors is taken in the electromagnetic vertex. The dependence of the total cross‐sections on the energy of the incident photon is explicitly shown.
