A semi empirical formulation for the energy dependence of multiplicity in hadronic collisions as proposed in a recent paper by Ghosh et al. has been applied to account for the experimental multiplicity data of p̄p, p̄n and π ± n collisions. A remarkable agreement has been found over the entire region.
