The short‐range order degree of cold‐rolled, quenched, and annealed Fe–12.3 at.%–Al alloys is determined by the position and structure of their 57 Fe M ÖSSBAUER spectra. The short‐range order found in the annealed material is discussed in connection with its anomal resistance behaviour ( K ‐state).
