We demonstrate a new method for the determination of correlation times. This method is based on examining the temperature dependence of coherent pulse averaging effects. We derive formulas for the temperature dependence of the decay time T 2eff of the transverse magnetization in the so called WHH and MW cases. As application of this method we measured T 2eff for OH‐protons on a decationated Y‐zeolite.
