The energy‐momentum balance of rigidly rotating perfect fluids yields the surface‐equation of the fluid and a relation between pressure and metric. These equations are discussed for the case, that the related exterior solution is the KERR‐solution. We prove the theorem: “A rigidly rotating perfect fluid cannot be the source of the KERR‐solution”.
