A simple theoretical model for the dependence of electrolytic conductance on the concentration of neutral molecules is proposed. We show that the main contribution to the constant of friction is due to hard collisions between ions and neutral molecules. The theory is compared with experimental data for ionic mobilities in several aqueous solutions of nonelectrolytes and with conductance data for pure electrolytes at various pressures. The agreement between theoretical and experimental data is satisfactory.
