The equivalent resistance of a piezo‐electric quartz crystal vibrating in various vapours of organic liquids at various temperatures was measured and the results compared with the values indicated by theory. It is found that the equivalent resistance at a given temperature depends on the pressure; its variation with temperature is linear and decreases with increasing temperature.
