Use of a heparinoid in patients with hemorrhagic stroke and thromboembolic disease

A new heparinoid, Org 10172, was given to five patiens with hemorrhagic stroke with thromboembolic complications. Treatment did not cause progression of cerebral bleeding, and thrombotic processes were inhibited. No side effects were encountered.
