A computer‐generated 3D reconstruction of the location of a pair of stimulating electrodes implanted in the internal segment of the globus pallidus (light green) and the border between the ventral oral internal (tan) and the centromedian nucleus (dark green) of the thalamus in a patient with Tourette syndrome. Simultaneous recording of local field potentials at both sites demonstrated oscillations that may be implicated in the pathophysiology of Tourette syndrome. (See Neumann et al., pages 505–514)
