The ABO blood groups of 90 Buddhists and 60 Muslims of Ladakh are reported. They do not differ from one another by the Chi‐square test. Among both religious communities, which do not intermarry, blood‐type B is the most common. Comparisons with some Mongoloid and some neighboring groups do not reveal great differences in frequencies at the ABO locus.
