A Negro skull with mutilated teeth was found in Saint Augustine, Florida. There are clear indications that the specimen is recent. Unfortunately, it is impossible to determine the country of origin of the skull. However, anthropologists should be sensitive to the possibility of tooth mutilation currently being practiced among Negro groups in the Western Hemisphere.
