Due to their novel architectures and promising biological activities, the family of taiwaniaquinoid natural products continues to capture the attention of synthetic chemists. This mini‐review highlights recent advances in the total synthesis of taiwaniaquinoids, with a focus on the overarching synthetic strategies that have been employed to access the structural and stereochemical diversity that exists among these plant secondary metabolites.
