An efficient ruthenium(II)‐ and copper(II)‐mediated, “one‐pot” synthesis of pyrroles has been reported. The reaction most probably proceeds via a reductive cleavage of isoxazoles. This protocol results in the synergistic formation of new C−C, C−N bonds, which leads to a simple and an efficient method for the synthesis of highly functionalized pyrroles from isoxazoles and acrylate esters.
