We report herein a Rh(III)‐catalyzed oxidative coupling reaction of 2‐phenylpyridine derivatives with arylsilane reagents. In this reaction, AgF plays important roles as both oxidant and C−Si bond activator. Addition of the catalytic amount of pivalic acid was found to be the key to achieve high yields of the desired products in short reaction times.
