An efficient visible‐light‐induced tandem cyclization of alkynoates and phenylacetylenes to naphtho[2,1‐ c ]coumarins was developed. The reaction could be carried out at room temperature under an air atmosphere in one pot. Preliminary mechanistic investigations indicated that the present reaction is involved in a free‐radical process.
