A facile and efficient approach for the establishment of the cyclopentenone skeleton via cobalt‐catalyzed carbonylative cyclization of allyl propargyl ethers has been developed. Using benzene‐1,3,5‐triyl triformate (TFBen) as the CO source, various bicyclic cyclopentenones were synthesized in good yields (61–86%).
