A cobalt‐catalyzed reduction of aryl sulfones to the corresponding arenes has been developed. With a cobalt‐IPr catalyst and a primary alkylmagnesium reagent as the hydride source, a range of aryl sulfones and some other organosulfur compounds could be reduced.
