A series of fused carbazole‐based luminophores with donor‐acceptor structures were synthesized (DCB‐H, DCB‐Br and TCB‐H). The photophysical, electrochemical properties, crystal packing structures were investigated in detail. The restriction of intermolecular rotation of benzophenone units lead to typical aggregation‐induced emission properties, giving potential to be used as fluorescence sensors for explosives, such as 2, 4, 6‐trinitrophenol.
