Pybox ligands have found widespread application in organic synthesis and catalysis ever since their discovery, and their involvement in various C−C and C–heteroatom bond‐forming reactions is rapidly increasing. In this Focus Review, we summarise the reactions involving various Pybox–metal combinations used for forming C−C bonds, such as cross‐coupling reactions, carbonyl–ene reactions, three‐component reactions, allylation reactions, Diels–Alder reactions and other C−C bond‐forming reactions. The literature from 2006 to 2017 is covered.
