An eco‐friendly method has been developed for the 1,2‐selenoamidation of alkenes under metal‐free conditions. The reaction avoids the need for pre‐prepared Se−N regents, providing facile access to a variety of β‐amidoselenides with good regioselectivity and functional group tolerance. The broad substrate scope, good regioselectivity and easy derivation make this reaction attractive for the synthesis of nitrogen‐ and selenium‐containing molecules.
