An efficient methodology for the direct metal‐free azidoarylation of vinylcyclopropanes using trimethylsilyl azide as the N 3 ‐transfer reagent is described. The reaction can be performed on a gram scale and a series of N 3 ‐containing dihydronaphthalene derivatives (20 examples) were prepared in good to high yields under mild reaction conditions. Furthermore, three of these organic azides were selected for facile conversion into the corresponding 1,2,3‐triazoles or amino derivatives.
