FeCl 3 ‐catalyzed intramolecular reductive coupling of unactivated aldehydes and arylalkenes with isopropanol as a terminal reductant under mild and easy‐to‐handle conditions has been developed. A series of five‐, six‐, seven‐ and eight‐membered carbocyclic alcohols were synthesized in moderate to excellent yields with high regioselectivities.
