The use of a simple copper salt as a catalyst, in conjunction with CsF as an activator, enabled a wide range of aryl‐ and alkenyltrialkoxysilanes to undergo carboxylation under atmospheric pressure of CO 2 , affording the corresponding carboxylic acids in good to high yields.
