We developed a straightforward and environmentally benign process for the synthesis of N , N ‐bis[(alkyl/arylthio)methyl]amines using neutral alumina as a highly effective and reusable catalyst under solvent‐free conditions. It was found that the use of neutral alumina afforded the desired products in shorter times and in better yields compared to traditional methodologies, perhaps with the help of water molecules trapped into the grooves of the alumina.
