1,1‐Diarylethylene derivatives have received great interest from chemists for their applications in polymerization chemistry and medicinal chemistry. This Focus Review presents a non‐exhaustive overview of the metal‐catalyzed processes for the synthesis of 1,1‐diarylethylene compounds.
