An efficient heterogeneous catalytic method for the oxidative amination of azoles with amines has been developed. This environmentally benign amination reaction was carried out without using any external base or acid, and only molecular oxygen was used as a green oxidant. The catalyst was easily separated from the reaction mixture and reused several times. The aminated azoles are important pharmacophores with biological activity.
