Ninja power : The picture represents C 3 ‐symmetric structures of truxene and its sila‐ and oxa‐analogues as “Shuriken”, which is a traditional star‐shaped throwing weapon used by a “Ninja”, a covert agent in feudal Japan. The “Shuriken” pierces C, Si, and O elements in the periodic table on the board. All of the synthesized truxenes display long‐lived phosphorescence with lifetimes in the range of 4.4–16.4 s. More information can be found in the Full Paper by Hiroshi Ikeda and co‐workers on page 290 in Issue 3, 2017 (DOI: 10.1002/ajoc.201600560).
