By using Sonogashira coupling reactions and iodine cyclization reactions, diiodide difuro‐fused tetrahydro[5]helicene imides were conveniently synthesized, which then gave a series of functionalized difuro‐fused tetrahydro[5]helicene imide derivatives by Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions. The crystal structures showed that the aromatic imide dyes had π‐extended and helical structures, and could pack into herringbone‐like architectures. Moreover, the imide dyes also showed intense fluorescence and redshifted emissions in both solution and spin‐coated films because of the expanded π‐conjugation systems and the helical twisted structures.
