Rh III ‐catalyzed hydroarylation of internal alkynes through C−H bond activation is described herein by using N , N ‐dimethylaminocarbonyl as a directing group without the need of an external oxidant. This protocol exhibits exceptional functionality compatibility owing to its extremely mild reaction conditions, which provides a facile and highly efficient synthetic method for olefin moiety introduction.
