Various supramolecular capsule structures have been developed in recent decades. Calix[4]resorcinarene‐based cavitands with bowl‐shaped aromatic cavities are suitable platforms for the formation of capsular assemblies. This Focus Review examines the construction of supramolecular capsules through the self‐assembly of cavitand derivatives. Various types of intermolecular interactions, such as hydrogen bonding, metal–ligand coordination, dynamic covalent bonding, hydrophobic interactions, and electrostatic interactions have been used as driving forces for the formation of diverse structures of capsular assemblies.
