A nickel goes a long way : Nickel‐catalyzed cross coupling reactions of aryl halides with organometallic zinc reagents were examined. Excellent catalyst activity was obtained with nickel complexes modified by O,N,O′‐ligands. Interestingly, the activity could be easily boosted by in situ modification of the precatalyst with primary amines. dmap=4‐dimethylaminopyridine.
