Abstract A 34‐year‐old munitions worker suffered an unexplained cardiac arrest on a Sunday morning. In retrospect, the cardiac arrest as well as previous complaints of chest pains during weekends fit the syndrome of withdrawal from occupational exposure to nitroglycerin.
