A man with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria and a lymphoproliferative disorder is described. The latter condition evolved into a typical picture of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The significance of this association is obscure, but treatment of one or the other disease was clearly not an etiologic factor in this concurrence.
