Criteria for isothermal conditions and/or absence of diffusion resistances in catalytic reaction were derived using approximate profiles of reagents concentration and temperature for the important reaction ν A A+ν B B→ν R R and for a power‐law type of the kinetic equation, which are quite often applied in practice. The method can be easily adapted to another type of kinetic rate equation and/or more complicated reaction schemes. The developed criteria were applied to some data from the literature with good result.
