Trajectories of bubbles and entrained particles in the rotating fluidized bed were obtained from equations expressing a balance among inertial, centrifugal, Coriolis, gravity and drag forces. The solutions led to information on the behavior of isolated bubbles, bubbles swarms and the elutriation characteristics of the rotating fluidized bed.
