A potentially simple and effective technique is proposed for separating enantiomorphic crystal pairs from each other, or separating individual enantiomorphs from optically active impurities. This method consists essentially of settling under conditions controlling orientation of the asymmetric particles and taking advantage of the tensorial nature of their friction factors.
