Abstract An experimental facility for vapor‐liquid equilibrium measurements at high pressures (100 to 15,000 lb./sq. in. abs.) and ordinary temperatures (100° to 300°F.) on multicomponent mixtures is described. The vapor‐liquid phase behavior of a six‐component hydrocarbon mixture, which simulated a natural gas and a condensate, was studied with this apparatus. Measurements were made at 150° and 250°F. and pressures ranging from 100 lb./sq. in. abs. to the single‐phase pressures for these systems and temperatures.
