In article number 2000017, Martin Winter, Marian Cristian Stan and co‐workers demonstrate that Cu|Li interfaces create favorable pre‐conditions for galvanic corrosion. In the case of interaction with an aggressive environment, represented by the electrolyte, lithium undergoes accelerated corrosion. This concept is demonstrated for lithium‐powder‐based electrodes.
