A new Na 3 PSe 4 compound is synthesized and exhibits a large cell parameter of 7.3094 Å, thereby providing 3D channels that are optimal for Na ion diffusion. Na 3 PSe 4 has the highest ionic conductivity reported for chalcogenides so far, with a value of over 1 mS cm −1 at room temperature and a low activation energy of 0.21 eV.
