Novel layered P2/O3 intergrowth Na 1‐ x Li x Ni 0.5 Mn 0.5 O 2 cathodes show high‐rate performance for sodium‐ion batteries. The good electrochemical properties are attributed to the synergistic effect of an intergrowth structure that results from the direct incorporation of Li in the matrix. This finding highlights the importance of multiphase intergrowths with orientation relationships that can attain performance for future optimized sodium‐ion batteries.
