Using an Au/PEIE cathode and Au anode, N. Matsuhisa et al. developed an organic diode with excellent rectification and stability in ambient conditions, which is reported in article number 1600259. These characteristics allowed for the fabrication of a pressure sensor matrix that could precisely measure the pressure distribution on a stepping foot.
