Two elusive low‐symmetry phases with phase transitions close to room temperature are reported in BaTiO 3 by Everhardt et al. in article number 1500214. Experimental results from piezo‐force microscopy and X‐ray diffraction are in excellent agreement with theoretical predictions of these phases, which may result in materials with enhanced electromechanical responses.
