The development of all‐transparent metal‐oxide photoelectric devices is reported by Joondong Kim and co‐workers in article number 1500232. A heterojunction of NiO and ZnO spontaneously absorbs UV light, while passing visible light. Structural, physical, optical, and electrical properties of nanocrystalline NiO are systematically investigated. Defects in the nanocrystalline NiO film are found to enhance the UV detection performance by defect‐assisted carrier transport. Such control of defects in metal oxides has potential for photoelectric device applications with optical and electrical advantages.
