Doping with proper metal cations is one of the most effective approaches to improve their electrochemical properties, which can offer much more open channels and active surface sites for the lithium storage. One‐dimensional Mn‐doped α‐FeOOH nanorods and Mn‐doped α‐Fe 2 O 3 mesoporous nanorods have been synthesized and Mn uniformly distributes in these nanorods.
