Colon Mucosa Protecting HA‐Enema System In article number 2103189, Yury Rochev, Abhay Pandit, and co‐workers develop a biphasic HMW‐hyaluronan (HA) enema suspension that protects the dysregulated colitis colon epithelium. The developed HA‐based system modulate the intestinal epithelial junctional proteins and regulatory signalling pathways, resulting in attenuation of inflammation and mucosal protection. Furthermore, the developed system helps restore the dysregulated intestinal barrier functions and helps in distal colitis management.
