In article number 2003535, Rongrong Zhu and co‐workers report the role of MgFe‐LDH nanoparticles as a promising LIF replacement in maintaining mESCs self‐renewal and pluripotency. Combined transcriptomic and proteomic analysis reveals that MgFe‐LDH could activate LIFR regulating signaling pathways, while the extra Fe 2+ provided by MgFe‐LDH also enhances TET1/2 abundance related to DNA demethylation. This biocompatible MgFe‐LDH nanoparticle favors economical and efficient replacement for LIF in large‐scale expansion of ESCs.
