The anionic boron cluster compound, COSAN, is a unique molecular tool for studying the aggregation of amphiphilic molecules with non‐amphiphilic structure in water. In article number 1700002 , Mikael Lund, Pavel Matějíček, and co‐workers provide a molecular view of the aggregation process of COSAN (depicted in the image; courtesy of Saltuk M. Eyrilmez, IOCB, Prague) using both experiments and theory. It is shown that COSAN self‐assembly is driven by non‐classical hydrophobic effect.
