A mechanoluminescent fiber that is capable of emitting light and can potentially be powered by human motion instead of a battery is demonstrated by Soon Moon Jeong, Sang Kyoo Lim, and co‐workers in article number 1700126 . The cover image shows that the mechanoluminescent light is generated by dynamic human motions inducing mechanical stress in a mechanoluminescent fabric, not by electricity, a development which is expected to enable environmentally friendly and sustainable light.
