The front cover picture , designed by K. Nomura and K. M. Dawood illustrates the basic mechanism for Z ‐selective ( cis ‐specific) olefin metathesis by molybdenum, ruthenium and vanadium catalysts. The review includes reports for transition metal catalyzed Z ‐selective olefin metathesis reactions (EROCM, CM, ROMP, and RCM) applied for organic synthesis and polymer synthesis. The review also includes basic background in the catalyst design, ligand modifications, which play an essential role for the success. Details can be found in the review by Kamal M. Dawood and Kotohiro Nomura (K. M. Dawood, K. Nomura, Adv. Synth. Catal . 2021 , 363 , 1970–1997; DOI: 10.1002/adsc.202001117).
